Make your mark. Make money.

Red Thumb only produce retail quality products. Whether it's your first gig or your fifth album, we pride ourselves on giving you the best possible chance of commercial success.

CD REPLICATION

Replication is the industry standard process of producing and duplicating your CD singles or albums. All media is glass-mastered (stamped, not burned) and the print process is either litho or screen-printing - the same as what you'll find in all the shops.

For runs under 500, the process is duplication with thermal on-body printing. However, it's far more cost-effective to go with larger runs and the quality is noticably better.

Sending us your CD audio data

To create a glass master for your CD pressing, you must send us your audio in red-book CD format. This will usually be the finalised master from your studio recording. We don't have time to listen to every client we deal with so please double-check your audio before sending it to us.

CD/DVD PACKAGING

Packaging comes in a variety of formats. The industry-standard is the shrink-wrapped crystal jewel case. For those who wish to keep things really simple (or who are skint), you can opt for a plain PVC wallet with a printed double-sided insert. We can also provide digipacks and card wallets.

CD BOOKLET PRINTING

This is where you can really go to town on your band's image or concept. Options include single or multi-page booklets, inserts and back inlays. Booklets usually come in multiples of 4 pages (4, 8, 12, 16 etc.). All our print (unless otherwise arranged) uses an industry standard lithographic 4-colour process.

We do offer a print design service but it can be time consuming and costly. Most bands already have their own material so it's simply a case of making your artwork print-ready before passing it on to us.

POSTER & FLYER PRINTING

An oft-overlooked aspect of promoting your band. For some reason folks often leave flyering/postering to the last minute and end up frantically dishing out amateurish-looking photocopies. With the cost of professional printing constantly falling, you'll be surprised just how cheap a thousand pucker flyers actually are.

A good promotional campaign can make or break you. Do it properly.

BADGES

Fans. We love 'em. You love 'em. They love you. Why not give them something in return?

Badges make great 'freebies' - merchandise that you give away for nothing or as a free gift when punters come to a gig or buy your album.

Spread the love with a badge.

BANNERS

Red Thumb also provide PVC banners for that extra punch at gigs, signings and promo events. Made of sturdy, weatherproof material, banners can provide not only visual impact but are an ideal way to advertise websites, telephone numbers and upcoming events.

CLOTHING

From T-Shirts to baseball caps and hoodies. Give your gushing fans the full experience by providing a range of custom clothing. How cool is someone wearing your band's T-Shirt?

Pretty cool.

We can also provide:

WEBSITES

MySpace is all well and good, but it's pretty limited and you usually have to wade through a pile of shit before finding anything decent. Again, it all comes down to control.

Websites are fantastic in that they give you global advertising with pretty much zero overheads. It's also an excellent way of keeping your fans up-to-date with gig dates, offering bonus music downloads, exclusive artwork and all manner of web goodies.

An online forum can also provide a fan-based community where folks get together and discuss all things YOU. If that doesn't massage your band's ego, nothing will. Next stop Buckingham Palace.

Our website packages include:

  • Top-level domain name (TLD) - mybandname.com, mybandname.net etc.
  • Unlimited email addresses
  • Streaming MP3 player

  • Discography page
  • Image Gallery
